How scores and verdicts work
- Every week has a starter median per position: the median score of everyone the league actually started there. Useful points = max(0, score − median).
- Every traded player is followed to the end of that season, wherever he goes: started for you, on your bench, or after you flipped him somewhere else.
- Net per week = what you received minus what you gave up, divided by the weeks measured. It's zero-sum.
- A deal made after Thursday kickoff counts from the next week. At least 3 weeks of data are needed for a verdict.
- Even: under 1.5 a week or under 10% of the value exchanged. Clear edge: at least 4.5 a week and 30%. Otherwise slight edge.
- Weeks a player sat unrostered aren't on record, so they're skipped. Projections are never used.
